Working Woman is pleased to announce The Working Woman Expo 2012 on Friday the 27th January in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
The only expo to bring together a range of organisations from across Yorkshire to promote products and services to support Working Women and Women in Business. We aim to highlight the changing role of today’s woman and present opportunities available across Sheffield for personal and professional development.
The Working Woman Expo will take place on Friday 27th Jan at the Mega Centre, Sheffield, , in association with our main sponsors, Microsoft and Three, the Expo will provide a unique opportunity to:
- Join our network of like-minded women
- network with business professionals
- promote your products and services
- listen to Inspirational speakers
- sample our taster workshops
- develop your opportunities
The range of taster workshops being held on the day include; Sheffield’s very own guru for marketing Faye Smith and experienced accountant Julie Robinson on tips on managing your finances. Michelle Berhanu will take us through languages for business and Jayne Briggs motivational coach with her talk on ‘the magic of positive thinking’ will inspire you at the start of 2012.
Fundraising will be taking place on the day for local Charity City Hearts, if you would like to fundraise prior to the event please let us know.
Many high profile figures have been invited to contribute to the event, including:
TV presenter, Loose Woman guest, after dinner speaker. Rachel is one of the most ubiquitous voices in the UK today. You can hear her in Boots, Lloyds, Barclays, M & S, Sainsbury’s and many more nationwide establishments. Yes, Rachel is the voice of…’Cashier No 3 Please….really!
The Working Woman Expo is aimed at representatives from Business organisations across Yorkshire, including: heads of training and development and training managers. It’s a must for women thinking of returning to work or education, women in employment and women thinking of starting or running their own business. It would also be beneficial to representatives from staff associations.

The fee includes your attendance at the Expo and the opportunity to particiapte in interactive workshops; all refreshments are via Starbucks and Mega Chino which are within the facility but are not included in the cost.
