Local Cosmetic Doctor Dr Darren McKeown, who practices in West Regent Street, Glasgow and Harley Street, London is becoming the first Doctor to launch a ‘no nonsense' skin care range, available exclusively in Superdrug.
Glaswegian cosmetic doctor and skin specialist, Dr Darren McKeown has put together a range of five anti-ageing products that makes no false promises. The range contains a collection of the most scientifically proven active ingredients including peptides, retinoids, zinc and vitamin E which all work together to keep skin in optimum condition.
Gina McKie says; "I'm so pleased there is now something on the high street you can spend your money on without expecting an overnight miracle. Darren has filled a hole in the market that needed filling and I'm chuffed that there is something on the market that you don't feel like you have wasted your money on expecting great things!"
Dr McKeown says; "If an active ingredient has been scientifically shown to reduce wrinkles by 60per cent over a six month period, what is the point in telling people it will eliminate all of them in two weeks? Yes, it may encourage people to buy your product in the short term - but ultimately it is going to lead to disappointment. There is good scientific evidence to support the efficacy of some active ingredients, but a lot of the benefit is wasted because the beauty industry flaunts so many exaggerated and unrealistic claims. I wanted to create a range which people can trust to be honest about what a product will really do."
Dr Darren is from Hamilton, Glasgow and studied at Glasgow University and offers a full range of non surgical cosmetic procedures in Glasgow and London's Harley Street.
