ANTI-AGEING EYE CREAMS
This month our beauty editor Faye Nicola Yarnall and her team of testers give us their verdicts on the latest anti-ageing eye creams and boy were we impressed with what's available!
STRIVECTIN-SD EYE CREAM (40ml), £59.00 - Available at Harvey Nichols and Space NK
THE BENEFITS: Based on the same formula as the original StriVectin cream, this product helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles around the eye. It doesn't contain Peppermint Oil - as in the original formula- and includes additional soothing agents for the delicate skin around the eye.
OUR TESTER SAYS: "I really liked Strivectin. The eye cream softened and hydrated my skin. It was gentle on sensitive skin and it really helped to fade the fine lines around my eyes. You also don't have to wait long before applying make-up, which is the perfect beauty treat if you are in a rush in the morning." SCORE 8/10

THE BENEFITS: A powerful anti-aging eye firming gel that stimulates collagen and reduces UV induced wrinkle formation. It contains high levels of antioxidants and hyaluron to improve elasticity around the delicate eye area. The eye gel firms, hydrates and protects cells from UV damage.
OUR TESTER SAYS: "The gel was really nice and easy to apply. It helped to reduce my crow's feet, which was marvellous. My skin also felt much more hydrated and plump around the eye area. I would definitely use it again." SCORE 9/10

THE BENEFITS: A multi action eye cream that tackles the main physiological signs of ageing for women over 50 plus. It reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improving radiance, skin tone and texture. It smoothes eye contours, reducing dark circles and bags.
OUR TESTER SAYS: "I was really impressed with this eye cream, I am in my mid 50's and it really helped to reduce my fine lines and my crow's feet definitely became less obvious. A little bit certainly goes a long way, which makes it a great investment for mature skin!" SCORE 9/10

THE BENEFITS: The first signs of ageing appear around the eyes so developing a brilliant eye cream was critical to Lulu. The Smart Balm Eye Cream helps to keep skin moist, firm and plump, combating fine lines and wrinkles, as well as reducing and dark circles around the delicate eye area.
OUR TESTER SAYS: "I was really keen to test one of Lulu's anti-ageing eye creams. I have heard so much hype around her Time Bomb range. The eye cream really helped to soften and smooth my fine lines around the eye area. I also liked the distinctive packaging." SCORE 7/10

OUR TESTER SAYS: "I loved the BeautyLab Instant Renewal Eye Complex, it was lovely and light to apply. It helped to reduce my fine lines and wrinkles. My skin felt hydrated and it helped to reduce the dark circles and bags around my eyes. The scent was ok, but overall it gave great results!" OUR TESTER SAYS: "I was impressed with Dr Lewinn's it has certainly reduced my fine lines and wrinkles. It was easy to apply and it absorbed quickly into my skin before applying make-up. I loved the sleek and stylish packaging - I would certainly recommend it! - SCORE 8/10
